Current Temperature in Hell: 32 Degrees Fahrenheit and Falling…

I’m checking with my favorite hottie weatherman immediately, because I have read two items today that have convinced me that either 1) the Apocalypse is imminent or 2) temperatures have dropped below 32°F in the Bad Place.

Both Aunt B and Mack have publicly, and in writing, acknowledged that they agree with unhinged rightist wingnut blogger Terry Frank on something! My brain synapses malfunctioned trying to compute the concept.

Actually, I’ve gotta say that I, too, can think of tons of more urgent issues for the Tennessee Department of Revenue to be putting their energy and money in to than looking for Tennesseans who buy more than 2 cartons of cigs over state lines. They’re actually going to be conducting surveillance at various tobacco retailers on the state line.

It seems like they’re spending an awful lot of money to try and get the tax money from those going over the border to buy cigarettes. Unreal.

Then I read over at Big Orange Michael’s place that Kentucky is undefeated.

The Kentucky Wildcats. Undefeated. In football.

Repent! The end is near!

  1. Dammit. Your logo no longer takes me to the homepage. What is it with WordPress? Do they not get how the web works?

  2. yeah, JP…I changed to a 3-column template the other day, but I’m having issues with the header. Hoping Chris Wage or somebody who is good at CSS can help me get it straightened out.

Seems like you can’t get everything you want/need in one template, does it?

  3. This is the year. The Vols are going down! Wildcats 8-5, bitches!

Dunno. Having never studied CSS2 well enough to do a proper job of putting one together, I settled on Blogger’s relatively straightforward ones. I’m not happy with one of them, but I’ll figure it out when it becomes important, I guess. ;)

  5. rocking title for the post.. really brilliant one :)

  6. Sometimes I think this state is more backwards than the Vatican during the 16th c.

  7. Oh come on! The Vatican sponsored great artists and architects. You’re giving Tennessee (I live in Memphis) way too much credit.
