I love it that Jennifer Love Hewitt is standing up for we “women of curves” everywhere!
Folks, contrary to what TMZ might think, this is not fat:
Unbelievable. I am SO glad she is speaking out:
“I’ve sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women’s bodies are constantly scrutinized,” the 28-year-old actress writes on her Web site.
“To set the record straight, I’m not upset for me, but for all the girls out there that are struggling with their body image.”
“A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be,” Hewitt responded in a post Thursday. “And being a size 0 doesn’t make you beautiful.”
“What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles,” says the star of TV’s “Ghost Whisperer” and the film “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”
“To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist,” she wrote, “put on a bikini — put it on and stay strong.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt is one of the most beautiful and real women in the world. The audacity of TMZ to attempt to degrade her like they have just to have “fodder” for their site and show is unforgiveable. So many women (and men for that matter) are coaxed into believing that they must be stick thin and as “so-called” ‘perfect’ as can be. This accounts for so much low self-esteem and and so many comestic surgery malpractice suits.
Needless to say here, I find the women who are natural, like Jennifer, to be exquisitly beautiful. The way she conducts herself, so professional yet strong should be a model to girls and women everywhere…along with her beautiful body. There is nothing whatsoever wrong with her or her body for heaven’s sake.
Listen, I am gay, but I tell you, I would switch for her. Here’s to Jennifer!
I can give ya a list a mile long of guys (including myself…married to the hottest woman alive) who really go for the natural, smoking hot curviness that the female body is supposed to flaunt…and a list of about 7 who prefer the starved hollywood starlet look.

My co- worker and I are laughing our hineys off. Regardless of whether you think she’s beautiful or not, that is NOT a size 2 derriere. I think it’s really disingenuous of her to speak out for women of all sizes, implying that she’s a size two apparently blatantly fudging what size she is.

No where in that quote did she say shes a size 2 and it looks like it was taken out of context anyway. JLH is a fine example of what a woman SHOULD look like in Hollywood.
