After a signing a No Deposit/No Return Waiver in triplicate, Milkshake is now a part of the ‘Snaps household. Hey, at least we’re keeping him in the blogger family!

Oh yeah, and Rachel will be happy to know that so far, he’s inside. (fwiw, I have always had outside cats who have all lived very happy, productive lives — outside). We’re gonna try inside and see what happens. I predict that the agent of chaos will have taken the Christmas tree down by the time I get home from work tomorrow evening!

We have a very firm “No Returns” policy.
If we were going to pick a family for Milkshake to live with, it would be yours.
Rock on, little kitty!
Yay! Glad the cutie found a good home. Home Ec 101 has a recent post on keeping cats out of the trees, because I had the same concern!
Congrats Geege!! He looks like a keeper!
What a cutie patootie! Oh, and it ain’t Christmas until the tree goes down! At least not at my house….
Don’t forget that I tagged you… Just something else for you to do during this busy time of year!

Sarcastro, I believe that just may be the sweetest thing you’ve ever written…to me…or ever.
What a cutie! My cats are starting to loose interest in the ornaments on the tree after a couple of weeks.
I want a kitten so badly it’s not funny. When I saw Milkshake yesterday I begged–begged–my husband to let me take him.
Unfortunately I have a late-developing cat allergy. So Hubs said no. I’m glad you’ve got him, and I’m especially glad he’s indoors.
FWIW, I actually think it’s kind of cute when they climb trees…sort of in the same way I think it’s cute when a toddler draws on the wall.
Yes, it’s annoying, but they’re expressing themselves! ;p
Awwwww! We have three and are about to get two dogs. Help, help!

Every time someone adopts a kitten an angel gets his/her wings.
Congrats on the new adoption!
I do hope you’ll consider making Milkshake an indoor-only guy (speak to any vet to get The Lecture™).
.
Milkshake is dangerously cute. I totally want to meet him.
Congrats on your new addition!
Oh yes, milk as a special treat only. Kitties need water, not cow squeezin’s.
I might pass out from the cute. I just want to squeeze Milkshake and then nibble on his paws and ears for a little while.
I know. Please don’t judge me.
Congratulations on the new addition to the family!
Milkshake is adorable! Congrats!
Now forgive me for being a downer here but I am VERY glad you are going to try to keep him inside and I’ll tell you why. Yes, I know plenty of cats live outdoors just fine – or at least APPEAR to be fine – but my vet told me over 15 years ago that feline leukemia and feline AIDS are now so prevalent in this country that well over 75% of outdoor cats will contract one or both. That was 15+ years ago, I’m sure the percentage is even higher now… not to mention all the other diseases they can catch outdoors.
Even before those diseases were very prevalent, though, we had indoor-outdoor cats my whole life until I was an adult and moved out of the house and not one of our cats lived past three or four years old. As an adult, I’ve had one live to over 16 and currently have three more elderlies in that age range now. It simply can severely decrease their lifespan if they are not kept indoors, and now having lost several to feline leukemia (FeLV) over the years (all of whom contracted it before they came to live with me except one, and he caught it from one that was brought in that had formerly been an outdoor cat) – I just gotta tell you, though they can live full and good lives for years with FeLV, the end is horrible and heartbreaking. Sure, there are other cat diseases that are equally heartbreaking, but I’d rather take my chances of them dying of old age in their sleep any day than what I have had to witness with some of my babies.
So please, if you start to think about letting him outside again, keep all that in mind, Ging.
In the meantime, have fun with him – he’s as cute as he can be (and looks a little bit like the Psycho Kitten I wound up with last spring)!
