    My favorite version of this song is by Valerie Carter. She sang backing vocals for Linda Ronstadt, Don Henley, Jackson Browne, and James Taylor, and also recorded on her own. Her CD, “Just A Stone’s Throw Away” (which includes Ooh Child) is my Sunday-morning-clean-the-house CD. …….And from the looks of my house, it’s time to listen to it again!!

    By the way, since I’ve seen another John posting on here, the John in St. Louis (formerly Nashville) will now be known as JohnnyB. :-)
