Do you remember the rumor about this song??
During an instrumental break, there is a scream that sounds out of place. It was rumored that the scream was the sound of a woman being murdered in the studio.
I was young and naive and believed this… I remember being SO FREAKED OUT every time the song was played!!
Of course, it was all false… the rumor was started by some DJ.
Back in ‘84 I was at a Halloween party (in June or something) and they were playing.
It was a big party, not like at someone’s house.
HAA! The Ohio Players! What a great blast from the 70s. ; )
