20 Albums That Changed My Life

I’m not sure why, but in the past couple of months Facebook has become a bastion of memes (memery?).  I haven’t been able to do my “25 Things About Me” yet, (heck, I still need to do my interview questions for those of you who asked!

However, when I got tagged for this one, it was so therapeutic…and I thought I’d bring it over to my blog as well!  So here goes…

****************************************************
Think of 20 albums, CDs, LPs (if you’re over 40), that had such a profound effect on you they changed your life. Dug into your soul. Music that brought you to life when you heard it. Royally affected you, kicked you in the wazoo, literally socked you in the gut, is what I mean. Then when you finish, tag 15 others, including me. Make sure you copy and paste this part so they know the drill.

****************************************************

These are in no particular order (except #1, of course!), and this doesn’t even begin to cover all of the music I could list, but these are the first ones to come to mind. Maybe someday I’ll write down the reasons behind all of these…Saturday Night Fever

1. Saturday Night Fever – Original Soundtrack – Bee Gees
2. Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band – The Beatles
3. Song of Joy – Captain & Tennille
4. Jagged Little Pill – Alanis Morrisette
5. Toto – Totoage-to-age
5. Minute by Minute – Doobie Brothers
6. Dark Side of the Moon – Pink Floyd
7. Age to Age – Amy Grant
8. Live: More Than Wonderful – Sandi Patty
9. Whitney Houston – Whitney Houston
10. Chicago 17 – Chicago

17. Back in Black – AC/DC
18. Here You Come Again- Dolly Partonback-in-black
19  Elvis In Concert – Elvis Presley
20. Main Course – Bee Gees

I had to have two Bee Gees albums listed here…come on…remember who are you dealin’ with here? lol!

Now to tag…I already tagged 15 on Facebook, so now I will tag 15 of you via the blogosphere.  If you don’t have time to complete it, no worries!  However, I think it would be very fun and interesting to know the Top 20 (or at least the first 20 that come to mind) from Mack, Sharon Cobb, Ivy, Janelle, Holly, chez bez, Turnbaby, Karl, Lady Jaye, Hutchmo, Ms. Collie, Clearly Crystal, Hilly, Marty Mankins, and Ron.
