About Me

I’m “just” a mother trying to juggle between work trying to find a job, mothering, and myself, living in Nashville, Tennessee. Fulfilled many of my dreams, yet I want to find more dreams and make them come true.

I like to post a mixture of personal and humorous items into this place, as well as the fact that I blog about such issues as our criminal justice system, the death penalty, immigration, politics, religion, music, etc.

I strive to be a balanced person in my life and on this blog. You might find me irreverent one day and praising God the next…but that’s how life is…sometimes it ain’t pretty, but most of the time life is beautiful.

I hope you enjoy reading about my experiences, observations, viewpoints and yes, sometimes rants…and perhaps join in on the conversation!

  18. Ginger,

Since I couldn’t find Ivy’s e-mail, I decided to contact you since you are 2nd in Command at MCB. I am intending to launch a site for the Mobile, Alabama area called “Port City Bloggers”, and I wanted to contact you guys and let you know since it does follow closely with the “Music City Bloggers” name. I was hoping we could be “sister”/”brother” sites if it is okay with you guys.

I am crediting you guys with the idea, since it was you guys that inspired me to register the domain. :)

I haven’t developed the site yet (just purchased the domain today) but it will be launching within the next week or two (whenever I can get some fellow bloggers to join in).

I just want to thank you guys for the inspiration, and keep up the good work!

    God bless,
    –Eric

  20. Hey Ginger Snaps!

Just saying hi. Met you at Delmer’s place. We were discussing porn. How’s that for first words?

  21. Hi,
Great Blog, thanks for taking the time to express your truths. It is truly appreciated, by all ( at least by me). Thanks for your hard work, as a fellow blogger I know the daily grind of publishing new, interesting items. Thanks again for you hard work.

  22. Hey, Ginger,

I saw “Ginger Snaps” on a search for notable Tennessee bloggers, and I’m enjoying reading your playful tone. It’s always good to meet another sharp Tennessee blogger, too. :o )

I’m on a planning group for the first-ever BarCampMemphis, a Nov. 8 volunteer-driven conference in Memphis that is aimed at entrepreneurs and new media enthusiasts. I wanted to mention our event in case you’d like to attend, offer to speak on a topic of your choice, or participate in some other capacity. We’re going to have fun, and it should be a really useful, vibrant event, much like the recent BarCamp in Nashville.

You can see links to details in the right sidebar of my blog: http://www.carolynbahm.com. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Best wishes to you!

  23. Hey you are a good writer! Please write us if you want to branch out. :)

  24. Ginger,

    I haven’t stopped by in a while…for which I regret.

It’s just past 4 AM and I’m awake due to discomfort. I’m having surgery again on Oct 8 and afterward will be in ICU. If by chance you read my post…Heartache At The Hands of The “Church”….you’ll be able to see many of my physical struggles came fdue to almost 25 years of physical abuse.

Thankfully, I’m remarried to the most amazing guy on the planet. I have a long road ahead of me…and couldn’t imagine going through something like this without him…and of course my little Sheltie (Jenny).

    Kindest Regards,

    Michelle
